Process Analysis & Waste Management

Learn the methods to document the current processes utilizing process maps. Spaghetti diagrams and standard operations charts. An in depth look at the behavior of processes is the first step in identifying waste. Learn the seven wastes in your process and examine methods to eliminate or reduce them. Discuss how methods of waste elimination are related to other Lean tools and how these can be incorporated into everyday standard work. (Daily Kaizen)

Typical Length

Depending on the scope, this workshop can be completed in ten days. The workshop will consist of approximately six hours of classroom study mixed with ten hours of hands-on application. Process analysis & waste reduction is commonly taught in conjunction with kaizen events.
